Our class enjoyed a virtual field trip last week during science class, courtesy of Ms. Perkins. Students were able to see turtles, tilapia, cactus, and succulents. They were able to apply their knowledge of plants and animals from science class to some real life examples. Thanks Ms. Perkins! We are looking forward to additional educational experiences next week. | On Monday at 12:30pm we will welcome a very special guest speaker to our class to share with us her experience teaching at California School for the Blind. We will have an introduction to what life and mobility are like for someone with sight impairment. If you have an egg carton in the house, please bring it to 12:30pm class on Monday. | As we close out the month of October, we want to think about fire safety and will have a guest speaker address our class about fire safety (11/4/20 at 1:15). We have become so attuned to fire danger in recent months, your child won't want to miss this special presentation. Coming up: Halloween Assembly on Friday (10/30) at 2pm. Costumes may be worn all day! |
I went for a walk with my dad and the sun was so hot that it started to make my skin darker, so I was adapting to my environment. --Kale
