We are very excited to welcome students back to school next week! Parents may drop off between 8:45 and 9am. While Lake Street remains closed to through traffic, our white zone will be open. Please do be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists as you enter/exit the road. K-1-2 students will use the lower level Lake St classroom (what was 2/3 last year) as a main entrance/exit. You may pick your child up between 2-2:15pm in the white zone. Of course, when you are able to, parking and/or walking for drop off or pick up is an even better idea. Thank you for being mindful of our neighbors and their driveways. | Students will need the following supplies to be kept at school: 1. Math books + deck of cards + fraction bingo+ die 2. Jump rope + tennis ball 3. Writing journal, SRA Reading series book (blue or green), Grammar book, spelling book and handwriting book. For 2nd: Pippi Longstocking, Mr. Popper's Penguins, My Father's Dragon 4. Social Studies book 5. Science Book 6. Oil pastels + sketchbook 7. Spanish book 8. Folder 9. Pencil box with Markers, Colored Pencils, Crayons, eraser, gluestick, pencils, and sharpener. 10. Extra clothes | It is my pleasure to announce that Ms. Forrest will be joining us in the K-1-2 classroom. She is a credentialed teacher who has been teaching in Marin for many years. While Ms. Perkins is in Idaho, Ms. Forest will support our class (as well as the 5th grade class) in a number of subjects. The incomparable Ms. Perkins will continue to teach classes via zoom. I want to thank you for your patience and perseverance over these many months. I know it hasn't been easy to divide your time. Thank you. We will attempt to make this transition back to school as smooth as possible. Please don't hesitate to email me if there is anything I can do to assist your family in this endeavor. |
