Spring is in the air and believe it or not, the sun is out too. If your child would like to keep sunscreen in their cubby at school, they are welcome to leave it at school for reapplication as necessary. In math, kindergarten is learning about fractions. First grade is reviewing addition and subtraction facts with word problems. Second grade is working on problem solving, specifically, reading to understand the problem. In language arts, the class is working on narrative writing with special attention to characters, and setting.
